As a member of the Global Marketing Leadership team, the Associate Director of Solutions Marketing will report to the Senior Director of Marketing and be responsible for defining and leading our go-to-market positioning, messaging, and sales enablement strategies across Corporate Learning’s portfolio of leadership development solutions. This individual will also be a key business partner to the Product Management function in developing the ongoing product roadmap and associated market facing activities. The role requires high degree of strategic insight, creative thinking, and the ability to translate strategies from Product Management into powerful messaging points that sing in the market. The right candidate will be able to lead and influence senior leaders across the firm while still get in the trenches to get things done.  

Key responsibilities include:
  • Driving all positioning, messaging, and content strategy for promotional campaigns that ensure business targets are achieved/surpassed for the product lines
  • Understanding the competitive market in order to best position, package, and differentiate the brand and various aspects of the product portfolio
  • Defining detailed customer/prospect personas with pain points, messaging strategies, and where each persona fits in the buying process for the product
  • Owning the development of all product-related marketing and sales enablement materials
  • Partnering with others in the Marketing Programs team to deliver compelling campaigns to target personas that increase buzz and awareness, drive qualified leads to the sales team, and demonstrate thought leadership
  • Leading the development of integrated market launch plans for all new and updated offerings
  • Effectively engaging with partners across Marketing, Sales, Sales Enablement, Product Management, and Global Delivery; liaise across various organizational levels to ensure the overall success of the solution lines in the market

    Experiences and Competencies Required: 
  • 8-10 years product marketing or product management experience, with a balanced mix of both B2B and B2C
  • Prior experience in similar or related industries (learning & development, human capital management, professional services, or education management)
  • Strategic thinker and planner who can also execute with a hands-on, get-it-done attitude
  • Superior communications skills, particularly with writing and visual story-telling for global audiences
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects at once, with multiple stakeholders, and getting products/features launched on-time
  • Collaborative and team-oriented, with an ability to build strong working relationships across levels and departments
  • Self-motivated, and capable of working in a face-paced, dynamic environment with little oversight
  • BA/BS required, MBA preferred
